Akreditasi/Sertifikasi ISO 9001:2008 Untuk Kontraktor dan Bidang Konstruksi (2009-04-21)
Untuk memenuhi standar kompetensi, terhitung mulai awal Januari 2006, kontraktor kelas menengah yang akan mengerjakan proyek dengan kisaran nilai Rp 1 miliar hingga 3 miliar diwajibkan memiliki standar ISO. 80.000 perusahaan jasa konstruksi kecil lainnya diharapkan melakukan pelatihan manajeman mutu. Pasalnya mereka akan menjadi sub kontraktor menegah dan besar.

Terhitung sejak 2006, kontraktor menengah harus memilih akan masuk suatu pangsa pasar yang besar. Pada saat itu terbuka peluang bagi kontraktor itu untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan-pekerjaan besar yang bernilai di atas 3 miliar.

Dari sisi kompetensi teknis, kontraktor dalam negeri sudah bisa melakukan penetrasi ke negara-negera maju, seperti Jepang dan Australia. Jika kontraktor Indonesia tidak memiliki standar ISO itu, ada kerugian yang harus ditanggung oleh perusahaan kontraktor tersebut. Pada saat mereka harus bersaing dengan kontraktor asing, kontraktor ini tidak akan dapat memenuhi persyaratan.

Oleh karena itu, kontraktor besar sudah dinyatakan harus memiliki ISO. Dipaksa atau tidak dipaksa kontraktor yang profesional pasti akan memiliki ISO. Kepemilikan ISO tidak hanya menjadi suatu persyaratan untuk memproduksi, tetapi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kinerja mereka.

The new International Standard ISO 23045:2008 will help the building sector to contribute to energy saving by providing it with specific design guidelines. The building sector is recognized as a major contributor to the build-up of greenhouse gases. Kyoto Protocol emissions trading system goes global
Under the CDM, projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to sustainable development can earn saleable certified emission reduction credits (CERs). Countries with a commitment under the Kyoto Protocol can use the CERs to meet a part of their obligations under the Protocol. There are currently more than 1180 registered CDM projects in 49 countries, and about another 3000 projects in the project validation/registration pipeline. The CDM is expected to generate more than 2.7 billion certified emission reductions (tradable CERs) by the time the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol ends in 2012, each equivalent to one tonne of carbon dioxide. ....(read more..)
